Sin
Sin comes in all shapes and sizes, and yet God says there is no sin greater than another? How does this work?! Surely someone who swears isn't as bad as someone who stabs another? So does God see these sins in the same light? But ok lets say thats how it is, maybe no sin is greater than another so is it our attitude towards that sin? But again wouldn't we be more guilty for stabbing than swearing? More sorry? God forgives us when we say sorry, so it doesn't matter what we've done, but what if we aren't sorry at all? What if we continually do a particualar wrong knowing full well it goes against God's wishes? What happens then? How can God forgive when we are not sorry? Those of us who are saved? Are we always saved? What if we are ignorant to some of God's ways and choose to do some things we want? We know God loves us no matter what, but where's the line? Surely it can't mean once saved always saved cus there'd be a lot of ppl in the world claiming to be doing the work of God when really they've turned their backs and are doing what they like? What if we happen to be on the wrong side on that day when Jesus returns? What is it that keeps us heavenward? Is it our forgivness? Are we lost without it?
I realise this post is rather open and questionative (spelling) but gets ya thinking..if you've got any thoughts please leave a comment..xxx

Hmm, interesting. My opinion on the 'no sin is greater than another' is that since God is a perfect God, no matter how little our sins seem, we are still sinners, which is why all of us needed Jesus' sacrifice so that we can be forgiven. I think the 'once saved always saved' has exceptions (i.e. if you become an apostate) but it's hard to draw a line to show exactly what you have to do to 'lose' your salvation. Continually sinning doesn't necessarily mean you're not sorry, and if you make an effort to change and 'repent' then God will forgive you. But if you're not sorry...whether God does forgive you is debatable, since it says you have to forgive others before you can be forgiven, but does that mean you lose your salvation? But even if not being sorry for sinning doesn't make you lose your salvation, then still I wouldn't risk that sinced it's not fair on God to have to keep forgiving you even when you're not sorry.
So, my opinions on losing your salvation? Well, what did you do to gain salvation in the first place may help to answer that. "For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation." (Romans 10 v 10 AMP) and "And it shall be that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord--Christ] shall be saved." (Act 2 v 21) are the verses I can think of about salvation (lol I use the amplified Bible ). I'm a bit too tired to think about this more at the mo, so these are my comments for now.
All sins are as bad as one another because they hurt God just the same.. he wants us to be disciplined and he doesn't ask for much really.. not when the fact he gave us life is concerned.. and the fact that he took his OWN SONS life. But i believe that there is no need to go to great measures to clense us of our sins.. because what's done is done but we must stop doing what's wrong. Anons comment ( mehthinks tis ryan) talks about loosing Salvation.. Salvation is deffined as 'The preservation from distruction, evil and diffuculty.' To me this is interpreted as something that can not be lost or gained because God tells his people, "I will be with you wherever you go, don't fear, you're mine" The message. So God & His Salvation= ALL THE TIME!! We just dont always know it!So, my opinions on losing your salvation? Well, what did you do to gain salvation in the first place may help to answer that.
